This presentation is designed to give individuals the necessary knowledge and skills required to become a competent CCTV operator whilst maintaining compliance with current legislation. Closed Circuit Television camera’s are now a part of every day life in most Town Centre’s & places of work and play a key role in both the deterrent and aid to dealing with Crime & Disorder. Operating these systems require strict compliance with Government legislation.
It should be noted that this presentation has been mapped to the national occupational standards (NOS). This presentation therefore reflects the needs of the CCTV industry in terms of the knowledge, understanding and skills required for competence in employment. The specification is also mapped to the SIA Core Competency Training and Qualifications for the CCTV Operator (PSS).
This presentation is aimed at persons who are working in the CCTV industry but can equally be of use to persons who may wish to learn more about the security industry sector of CCTV operation.
