In the Home

It is important to be aware of possible hazards around the home and to take steps to protect you and your family. In this category you will find various guides that are designed to impart the knowledge, understanding and skills to help in making your house a happy home.

What is a Home? It's where we live, most of us spend over 70% of our time in our homes, and generally feel at peace. While a house is often referred to as a home, the idea of "home" is much more than a physical dwelling. It's a place of quiet refuge and safety, where cares of the world fade and the people and things we love are the main focus. And so it stands that the "home" is central to the well-being of one's life, both emotionally and physically.

You should connect to your home just like you would connect to a person. Ask, listen and pay attention. Look and see which areas of your home "hurt." By "hurt" we mean they are not working well, not looking good, you don't like to spend time there, etc, etc. As every part of your home is connected to a specific part of your life, such as eating, sleeping, relaxing, socialising, etc. “hurt” in a specific part of your home will start reflecting negatively in specific areas of your life.

It is it very important to create a home that has a happy, secure and healthy feel, because if you live in a such a home, your own emotional & physical state will inevitably become healthy, secure and happy. This new relationship will beneficially reflect in all areas of your life: your love life, your career, the relationship with your children. In this section you will find various units that will help you explore and discover what you can do to make that all important connection with your home and make it healthy, secure and happy, thus providing you and the people you love the most with healthiness, security and happiness.

Take a look at the menu on the left, you will find a whole host of units that offer exceptional value. You will also find on each unit page an exam associated with that unit, so you may test the level of your knowledge, and should you reach the required level of achievement, you will be awarded the E2Learn WINA certificate of achievement.
