In this category you will find a number of resources for education professionals designed to help maximise teaching performance. I personally found after entering the world of education, for every 20 minutes of teaching students, I would spend a further 40 minutes on paperwork.
This section provides access to a range of resources created or recommended by teachers for use in lessons. The resources come in a variety of formats such as MP3 audio, Adobe PDF, Adobe Flash, Microsoft Office Word, Power Point, Publisher, Access, and Excel.
The variety of resources is designed to inspire people to develop their knowledge and skills at school/college or at home to create a sound platform for further education. The resources have been categorised in to various subjects; i.e. those that could be used with languages, I.T. etc.
The site provides a multitude of tools and opportunities that enable teachers, lecturers and home tutors to provide stimulating lessons to their students. Differentiation is achieved by the range and flexibility of the tools offered. People can, and do, respond creatively at their own level in a variety of media.
We really want the site to inspire and offer opportunities to get involved in education, whether it is by listening, reading, writing, using animations or recordings, either alone, in a group or as a whole class.
Take a look at the menu on the left, you will find a whole host of units that offer exceptional value. You will also find on each unit page an exam associated with that unit, so you may test the level of your knowledge, and should you reach the required level of achievement, you will be awarded the E2Learn WINA certificate of achievement.
